About Us

Napaulstan Charitable Foundation was founded in 2000. Our foundation efforts are for providing opportunity for children in the rural areas of Greater Accra region that are at risk. To create value and make a difference in their education quest, and to bring inspiration and innovation. The target population consists mostly of indigenous people of Accra, the capital of Ghana and its surrounding regions. Developments of Accra as the capital of Ghana and the natural consequence of displacement of the indigenous people of the region have resulted in the loss of their economic base of farming and fishing. A number of them lack primary education and with little or no health care. Programs aimed at assisting children in rural areas of Greater Accra region are very often by-passed because they are not visible among affluent city life.

Our foundation programs are each unique parts of a whole. We provide Education & Awareness opportunity for under privileged youth in the rural areas of Greater Accra region that are at risk. To meet the goals of our foundation education and awareness program; initiatives include books, school uniforms, teaching material, toys, victuals. Additionally, Napaulstan Charitable Foundation partnerships with Ghana Rural Initiative (GRIP), a non-profit, non-political, non-religious organization. GRIP’s mission is to create a mutual alliance of enthusiastic support group devoted to uplifting and encouraging of under privileged youth in rural Ghana in their educational pursuits, provides nurturing environment where children are safe, happily growing and learning, provides financial, technical, and moral support to this end. Napaulstan Charitable Foundation also partnerships with Ashiedu Keteke Social Foundation (Ashfo Foundation) a non Governmental Organization committed to adding value to poor urban communities using poverty alleviation strategies in partnership with community based organizations and local authorities. Further Napaulstan Charitable Foundation partnerships with Lotus Children’s Center which provides residential and outreach services for girls of all ages who are orphaned or from needy families, as well as a nursery and kindergarten school facilities they welcomes support of scholarships, toys, playing equipment, educational material, art and craft supplies.
